The players of the Sacconi Quartet will present an entertaining and informative hour-long programme designed for children aged 5 and above, as well as the young at heart of any age! Through pieces by some of the greatest classical composers and interactive music games and activities, the audience will be introduced to the instruments of the string quartet, and the wonderful world of chamber music.
Adult tickets are £5 each; children’s tickets are free and do not need to be reserved in advance for this concert. There must be one adult present for for every four children attending.

Formed in 2001, its four founder members continue to demonstrate a shared passion for string quartet repertoire, infectiously reaching out to audiences with their energy and enthusiasm. The Quartet have enjoyed a highly successful international career, performing regularly throughout Europe, at London’s major venues, in recordings and on radio broadcasts. The Sacconi is Quartet in Association at the Royal College of Music.
